Northwest Anglican Longview
(Photo by Bill Wagner at tdn.com)What if you could worship God in a way that was both fresh and ancient? What if Sundays left you thinking, not about the pastor or yourself, but about Jesus? What if you could belong to a small community and to 80 million Christians globally... and countless more throughout history. What if you were part of an Anglican church?
Northwest Anglican Longview is an endeavor to craft a church that loves God and people, a church that serves God and people, a church that enjoys God and people. Let's plant an Anglican church that embodies all the best of Anglicanism in Longview and Kelso.
If you're the kind of person who has been waiting for just such an opportunity, please contact us. Let's get to know each other a bit as we press forward into what God is doing with Northwest Anglican Longview.
Where We Meet, What We Do
The Intermission Coffee House
Northwest Anglican is joining its efforts with an initiative from St. Matthew's Anglican Church Portland, an ACNA parish (see The Anglican Story). Together we are working to discern how an Anglican expression of Christianity could best embody the gospel and serve the people of the Longview-Kelso area.
We gather weekly in the back room of the Intermission Coffee House, at 3187 Ocean Beach Hwy, Longview, WA 98632. Click the address for a link to a Google Map.
Most of our time is spent reading and discussing a particular passage of scripture. We conclude with a brief liturgy of prayer.
This space is handicap acessible.
Children are welcome to sit around the table with us.
Schedule for Longview
We meet Monday evenings, 7.00-8.30pm. We make occasional modifications to our schedule, so please feel free to contact us to get up-to-date information. We look forward to getting to know you!
